Bamboo in Snowby ~slshimerdla

Creative title, eh?

Something entirely different, I know. This is actually the first in a series of paintings that I am doing to put up on my own wall in my living room. This style was originally meant to be something like chinese brush painting, and I think I still captured a bit of that in the leaves, but it evolved into my own thing. Anyway, I like it. More of the same kind of thing to come.

Will be available as a print as soon as I decide what dimensions I need for what I want to do with this on my own wall.

this is sooo awesome, i don't know about you but it reminds me of those japanese ghost stories, you know how they always appear in the bamboo with the snow and everything, i don't know if this has anything to do with anything but i thought it was awesome ^^

WOW!! This is very nice. So different from your other work, but I really like it a lot. I love the contrast between the black and white. I like how you did the falling snow to. GREAT JOB!!!

The dark leaves do look like ink against the snow, its a neat twist on the oriental paintings. And nice to see you live.
