This is an undead character from the World of Warcraft universe. I started it looong before Blizzard decided to host their contest, but never finished it until recently. Figured I'd submit it just for the heck of it, although I don't expect it to win for several reasons. It's too simple, for one... just the character, not much of a background. Also, I've seen some of the wonderful stuff that some of the amazing artists have submitted for that contest, and ... well, no pun intended, but against them, there wasn't much of a contest.
ANYWAY... she was originally to be freshly arising from the grave, although in the end you couldn't see much of that dirt beneath her. Still, I was happy enough with how it came out.
The title ended up the same as my website name because it really just seemed to fit, with this being her "dark rebirth" and all.

It is always interesting to see drawings of WoW (or other video game) stuff which differ stylistically from the game art they came from.
